On Thursday, 26 June 2025, our GP practice will be closed for part of the day so our staff can attend important training sessions.
Why is this training important?
This training will help Salford GP doctors and nurses learn new skills. They will learn about things like CPR (which is how to help someone who is not breathing), keeping patients safe, controlling infections, and fire safety. This training is supported by Salford Primary Care Together (SPCT) to help us provide you with the best care possible.
We understand that it might be inconvenient to close the medical centre, but we want to improve our services for you.
Who will help if you need care during the closure?
When we are closed, you can still get help with urgent GP practice health needs from Salford Primary Care Together. They can assist you with:
- Same-day urgent care
- Prescriptions you need quickly
- Health consultations in-person or over the phone
- Urgent home visits if necessary
Please call 0161 983 0641 on the day you need help.
Thank you for understanding as we work to make our services better for you. If you have any questions, please let us know.
“Everyone is excited about this training because it will help our GP practice team provide better care for patients.” Dr. Deji Adeyeye
Kind regards,
The Pendleton Medical Centre Team
